MIND BLOWING DAY 3

Today has been beautiful, AMAZING, sunny, encouraging, life-changing, emotional, draining, a GREAT Learning experience!!

TODAY I WILL NEVER NEVER FORGET!.

We started off the day with our daily morning 7:45 staff devotion/pray time! which is so amazing and just encouraging to me!
I have seen hard hearts and stubborn attitudes crossed arms slowly melt as they just can't help being drawn in on the fun and just all around joy of both counselors and campers! You can really feel the Holy Spirt Moving! We had cabin clean up and then chapel, we are singing some awesome songs ;D, and we are learning some awesome things about the life of Joseph. We were able after chapel, go to a fellow church member and friend of the Baileys, house and use their pool, they were so gracious to let us be there for 3 hours enjoying the sun, pool and they even provided pizza for us!! THIS POOL is HUGE and such a blessing to us, and the campers LOVE IT!!!! :D. I'm very thankful that today was warm and had plenty of sunshine!!
THen we came back and tried to have a lil cabin kick back (aka NAP TIME) ;-), then back to Chapel for "Girl Talk" The subject we have been talking about it Purity, and it has opened the flood gates for questions, which has been awesome, I have been deeply encouraged to see the girls participating and asking questions!
and then the other Staff boys (the only staff boys lol) Mr Nick and Mr Ben graciously did craft time :D which was Painting Bird house, which of course the girls LOVED... they love playing with the paint and getting the paint EVERYWHERE!! from clothes to faces to the tables, lol.. they enjoy that paint! And us Counselors were able to stay in the chapel and talk over what was said during "Girl Talk", which was VERY Encouraging.

I've been enjoying the cabin devotions with the girls and Rachel!! our girls have TONS of QUESTIONS and they are all REALLY GOOD but HARD questions! But we are glad they are opening up and wanting to know things!! Please continue to pray as ALL of us counselors answer these questions! and that God would give us the words to say and that Thru US CHRIST WOULD BE SHOWN!!!!

With this subject of Purity, it has opened up some DEEP question from the girls, and one of the questions was, "WHY DOES GOD CREATE CHILD MOLESTERS?" and Boy did that question throw me, because I know personally I have asked that same question and coming from this girl, I would have NEVER know, and she is the mirror image of what I felt and was feeling at that point in my life! So I was torn, but blessed at the same time that she knew she could talk to me and not worry about me judging her cause I KNEW WHAT SHE WAS GOING THROUGH!

SO KEEP CAMP GOOD NEWS IN YOUR PRAYERS cause THERE IS SOME WALLS going down and the GIRLS ARE STARTING TO OPEN UP!!!
